I was at a memorial service the other day & was thinking about what the priest covered during the sermon.
He said, “We are all, afraid to die”.
I didn’t quite agree.
After the service my wife recognized a lady whose face [my wife told the lady], she remembers in a soap advertisement.
The ‘Beauty’ quipped, “Oh, that was more than 30 yrs ago”.
She had been a ‘Queen of Beauty’, a long time before.
Both of them got in to conversation.
Sometime later, I had the opportunity to speak with her.
During this conversation, she told me that she too was not in agreement with the fear of death that the priest had spoken of.
We shared our thoughts, & then parted promising to catch up soon [she, my wife & self].
Have you experienced it ?
I mean, getting into sync with the vibes of another [a stranger for that matter] within minutes of having met.
The last two days I’ve been thinking a lot.
A lot of my thinking is based on connecting the dots
On the grasp
[Suggest you search for the ‘2005 Stanford Commencement Address‘ ]
and . . .
I’ve dug through a great amount about ‘minimalism’.
I kept on searching on ‘essential-ism’.
I find solace that I was able to search & hunt-down [or even fish-out]
that one person who was able to change the course of my life.
~ I was able to - because I searched ~
Searched like the way the ‘Big G’ suggests us to search.
And thought like the way FB makes out to filter that thought
out of the many that flashes our mind every second.
. . . of what I should be thinking of
to get into action to be a useful being
What do you think ?
Do you want to be able ‘GRASP’ before the final ‘GASP’?
I’m doing up a journal & a workbook on ‘essential-ism’.
